ABOUT COASTLINEADVENTURES.COM:

In 1998 CoastlineAdventures.com was created as a site for backpacking adventurers.  It grew steadily.  Because it was a early online store, it benefited from being nearly alone in representing many national brands for outdoors equipment.  That, of course, has changed greatly.  The Internet has become the world's largest and most complete shopping mall where nearly everthing can be found for sale.

We are changing the site as well.

What you see now is just a beginning.  We are building the next iteration of Coastline Adventures as a never-ending task.  We are, ourselves, travelers and adventurers.  We have traveled and will continue to travel and report upon interesting or unusual destinations in coastal areas.  Our trips have been and might be anywhere, for business, or to relax, play, explore, get to know an area or its residents, or just as an interesting waystation in a longer trip.  As we go we’ll continue to collect and present products and services fitting for a traveler or adventurer.  In short: We'll still be an online store, but more.  As our site grows in years to come it will become a travelogue too.
