The SightMaster sighting compass has the convenience of two compasses in one: as a hand held unit or as a sighting model. A 10x magnification precision ground sighting lens with a diopter sight allows compass estimations to 1/4 of one degree. Dial shows both forward and reciprocal headings with degrees available in increments of 0-360 or quadrant (four sections of 0-90). Rugged aluminum housing offer scales of mm and inch.

The KB-20 sighting compass is built in a rounded small body of weatherproof ABS plastic in vibrant yellow. It floats! The adjustable optics allow for bearings that can be made to 1 /2 degree accuracy, with interval marks at intervals of 1 degree.
